Who is responsible
GTO Solutions LLC, a Wyoming limited liability company, provides Holdem Solver and holdemsolver.com. Our registered address is 30 N Gould St, STE R, Sheridan, WY 82801, USA. We are responsible for the account and operational personal information described in this policy. This policy covers the website, desktop application and related account services. Contact support@holdemsolver.com for privacy matters.
Information we collect
Account information: email address, salted password hashes, account creation time, access entitlements, verification and password-reset records, and sign-in security records.
Device and authorization information: device identifiers, names, platform, first and last authorization times, revocation status and, where supported, public device keys and key-provider identifiers. These help bind access to authorized devices.
Website and service logs: IP addresses, request times, URLs, browser or client information, referring pages where supplied, response status and transfer sizes.
Support information: messages and files you choose to send us. Please send only what is needed and remove unrelated personal information.
What stays on your computer
The application stores solver projects, ranges, settings and results locally. Account and authorization checks do not upload your solver projects or results. If you voluntarily send a project or diagnostic file for support, we process what you send for that purpose. Local files remain on your device when an account is closed.
How we use information
We use account and device information to create and secure accounts, send verification and reset emails, authorize access and prevent abuse. We use operational logs to deliver downloads, troubleshoot, secure the service and calculate aggregate website and download statistics. We use support messages to respond to requests. We may also process information to meet applicable legal obligations and resolve disputes.
Legal bases where applicable
Where data protection law requires a legal basis, we process information necessary to provide the account and software services you request to perform our agreement with you; security, abuse prevention, support and aggregate service measurement rely on our legitimate interests, balanced against your rights; legally required processing relies on legal obligations. If a use requires consent, we will request it separately and you may withdraw it without affecting earlier lawful processing. Required account information is necessary to provide account-gated access.
Service providers and disclosure
We use Hostinger for hosting and Resend for verification and password-reset email delivery. These providers process information needed to deliver their services, such as server records or recipient email addresses and email content. Support channels may process information you send through them. We may disclose information when legally required or reasonably necessary to protect users, secure the service or establish and defend legal claims. The public website does not include advertising networks or third-party behavioral analytics scripts. Links to Discord and other external services lead to services with their own privacy policies.
Cookies, local storage and browser signals
The public website does not set advertising or analytics cookies. The installed application uses local storage for settings, preferences and session-related functionality. Clearing local application data can remove settings or sign-in state. The website does not track your activity across unrelated websites and does not change its essential request logging in response to Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control signals.
Retention
Account and registered-device records are retained while the account is maintained, unless removed following a verified request or another applicable requirement. Verification and password-reset codes expire after 15 minutes; expiry does not mean every associated database record is immediately erased. Download logs rotate by size rather than a fixed number of days, so the time covered varies with traffic. Retention of support, security and backup records depends on the unresolved request, security need, recovery cycle or applicable legal obligation. We assess deletion requests against those needs and explain any information that must be retained.
International processing
GTO Solutions LLC is a US company. Our hosting, email and support providers may process information outside your country, where data protection rules may differ. Contact us for information about processing locations and any transfer safeguards applicable to your information. Where law requires a transfer safeguard, it must apply to that transfer; this notice is not a request to waive your rights or consent to an otherwise unlawful transfer.
Your choices and rights
Email support@holdemsolver.com to request access to, correction of, or deletion of your information or closure of your account. Depending on your location and the applicable law, you may also have rights to restrict or object to processing, receive a portable copy, or withdraw consent where processing relies on consent. We may ask for information necessary to verify your identity; never send your password. We will respond within applicable legal time limits and explain any lawful exception. You may complain to your local data protection authority. We do not use account information for solely automated decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects.
Security and children
We use password hashing, access controls, expiring authorization tokens and revocation checks. No system can guarantee absolute security. The service is intended for adults aged 18 or older, not children. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us so we can investigate and take appropriate action.
Policy changes
We will update this page and its date when our practices change. For material changes, we will provide additional notice through the website, application or account email as appropriate, and request consent where required.
